Reinvigorating a style icon.

[ branding ]

Bernardo is an old American footwear brand that had lost its luster. Conceived in 1946 by Vogue’s Diana Vreeland and modernist architect Bernard Rudofsky, Bernardo developed the leather fashion sandal as we know it. The once-famous line was worn by the It Girls of Hollywood’s hey day.

This work redefined the new Bernardo brand and its path forward. Readying it for relaunch, with everything from identity to packaging, store spaces, look books and advertising.
